If your cat is not behaving as he or she normally does and your are concerned then don't hesitate in taking them to the vet for a check. It could be nothing or it could be something minor to major. Also if their is a problem then you may catch it before it becomes a very bad problem, even untreatable. Symptoms you may notice:

  • A fever

  • Dehydration

  • Vomiting

  • Diarrhea containing blood

  • No appetite

  • Lethargy

  • Pains in the abdomen

  • More thirsty than normal resulting in more urinating

  • Losing a lot of weight

  • Eating less

  • Weakness

  • Bad skin condition

  • Bad coat/fur condition

  • Abnormal breathing

  • Dehydration

If any of these are notice then it would be a good idea to keep an eye on your cat and even make an appointment to see your local veterinarian.
Some symptoms may come and go were others may worsen over time, symptoms can also become worse very fast and if this is the case then a fast trip to your veterinarian may be in need.
